1970年01月01日 · Sounds perfectly possible! I had my Mk XVI (same ETA base modified by IWC) from new and first service after 15 years. Even then was running around +1.5 per day and only really serviced to replace seals as was no longer passing the pressure test. The 30110 seems to be a super movement, very resilient and accurate.

None of our timepieces or movements are assembled in Asia. I'm surprised it's assembled by IWC.
